Terms of Service
Last updated August 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of DialFrontDesk's phone and text answering service (the "Service"), operated in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. By signing up for or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
1. The Service
DialFrontDesk answers or texts back calls your business misses, has a conversation with the caller to understand what they need, and creates a ticket in your dashboard so your team can follow up. Exact features and configuration depend on the plan you've agreed to with us.
2. Your account
You're responsible for the accuracy of the business information you provide (hours, service area, greeting script, forwarding numbers) and for keeping your login credentials secure. You're responsible for activity that happens under your account.
3. Your responsibilities as a business
You're responsible for complying with laws that apply to your business, including any requirement to disclose that calls may be recorded or handled by an automated system, and for obtaining any consent required in your jurisdiction for outbound text messages under Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL).
4. Fees
Fees are set out in the service agreement or plan you agreed to when signing up. We'll give you reasonable notice before any pricing change takes effect for your account.
5. Service availability
We work to keep the Service available and responsive at all times, but we don't guarantee uninterrupted service. DialFrontDesk depends on third-party telephony, AI, and infrastructure providers, and outages on their end are outside our control.
6. Data and privacy
Our collection and use of information is described in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
7. Intellectual property
DialFrontDesk retains all rights to the software, platform, and branding that make up the Service. Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership of that to you.
8. Termination
Either party may end the service relationship as set out in your service agreement. We may suspend the Service if we reasonably believe it's being used in a way that violates these Terms or the law.
9. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, DialFrontDesk is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the Service, including missed calls or leads caused by third-party outages beyond our reasonable control.
10. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Alberta and the federal laws of Canada applicable in Alberta.
11. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We'll post the updated version here with a new "last updated" date.
