What you get with every plan
These are the parts that make it different from a basic answering line.
Set up and reviewed personally
Every account is built around your business by a real person, who sets up your call forwarding with you and tests it with a real call before you rely on it. Your account is reviewed afterwards, not left to run itself.
Open around the clock
Nights, weekends and holidays included. The voice assistant picks up whenever you can’t, and the caller also gets a text straight away, so you never lose a job just because you were closed.
A ticket and an instant alert
Every call becomes a numbered ticket with the problem, the address, how urgent it is and whether the caller is new, plus the transcript and recording. Up to 3 people on your team are texted or emailed the moment it arrives, urgent ones marked first.
Built for trades and restaurants
It asks the questions your trade needs answered, tells emergencies from routine jobs, and tracks restaurant orders from received to ready.
Tuned for noisy places
Job sites, trucks and busy kitchens are loud. Your assistant is set up to ignore background noise and not stop talking every time something clatters.
You stay in control
Your number stays the same and your phone rings first. Calls may be recorded and callers are told. Pause or stop any time, with no long contract.
How it compares to a self-serve answering tool
Plenty of cheaper do-it-yourself tools exist. Here is the honest difference.
| Typical self-serve tool | DialFrontDesk | |
|---|---|---|
| Setup | You configure it yourself | Built and reviewed personally, with your forwarding connected and tested |
| Missed-caller follow-up | Often voice only, or text-back sold separately | Voice and text-back together, on every plan |
| What you get after a call | A message or a transcript | A ticket with the problem, address, urgency and status |
| Being told | You check an app or your email later | An instant text and email to up to 3 people, urgent leads marked first |
| Built for your trade | Generic receptionist for any business | Designed for trades and restaurants |
| Support | Help articles or a chat bot | A real person by email |
| Starting price | Roughly $25 to $100 a month, plus your time | From $247 a month, set up and looked after for you |
If you are comfortable setting it up yourself and only need a basic answering line, a cheaper self-serve tool may be enough. If you would rather it was done for you and kept working, that is what we are for.

Pricing questions
Any call that reaches your DialFrontDesk number. Each plan includes a number of calls a month. Calls above that are $1.25 each, whatever their length, and we will tell you if you are regularly going over so you can move up a plan.
No. Plans are month to month and you can pause or stop any time. The free 30-day pilot has no commitment at all.
Up to 75 calls. If you reach that before the 30 days are up, we will talk with you about choosing a plan.
No. Nothing is billed during the pilot. If you decide to continue, you choose a plan and pay through a secure checkout. We never charge you automatically when the pilot ends.
The setup fee covers building and testing your assistant around your business: your hours, services, service area, greeting and call forwarding. It is waived for every pilot client, so you pay it only if you skip the pilot.
